These mouth-watering, clean, healthy pancakes are the perfect addition to your Sunday brunch, enjoying breakfast for dinner, or late-night sweet tooth.

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 C water
1 ripe banana
1 C buckwheat flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon, ginger, cardamom

1/4 tsp nutmeg and cloves
1 serving of choice of protein powder (we used Garden of Life)

 

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth
  2. Fry like regular pancakes for about 3 minutes and flip for another 2 minutes

 

If you’re feeling fancy…

Add chocolate chips

or

Toss in some chopped nuts

or

Top it off with some nut butter
