Ingredients
1head cabbage
2clovegarlic
1tbspolive oil
3tbspsoy sauce
½tbspturbinado sugar or sweetener of choice
2tspchili paste
2tspfresh ginger
1tspsesame oil
For garnish:
1/2cupcashewsroasted and salted
4green onions
2tbspsesame seeds
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 F.
Slice cabbage into 1 inch steaks.
In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, sugar, chili paste, ginger, and sesame oil.
Line cabbage steaks onto a greased baking sheet. Drizzle the glaze over each steak.
Note: steaks will be different sizes, so drizzle proportionally over each steak.
Bake steaks for 25 minutes, or until tender. Garnish with sesame seeds, cashews, and sliced scallions and serve.
