Have you ever made your own ice cream? It’s surprisingly simple, and you may never go back to buying it in the store – or maybe you will because sometimes, late night cravings hit and only Ben & Jerry’s will do. BUT in the case of this Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream, you may want to stick to making it yourself because it’s only FIVE ingredients! Get on it.
Here’s what you’ll need…
1 can pumpkin puree
1 can full fat coconut milk
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp cinnamon
For freezing…
1 quart-sized bag
1 gallon-sized bag
3 cups ice
1/4 cup salt
Directions:
- Stir together pumpkin puree, coconut milk, maple syrup, and spices until evenly mixed
- Pour mixture into your quart-sized bag and seal
- Fill gallon-sized bag with ice and salt
- Put your sealed quart-sized bag inside the bag with ice, seal, and shake for 5-7 minutes (I recommend wearing oven mits to protect your hands)
