Everyone loves a good sweet treat. For me, I am itching for one after dinner. Needless to say, clean eating is all about balance, and I don’t always resist these cravings. One treat I love to keep in the freezer are my five ingredient Chocolate Coconut Bites!

 

Here’s what you’ll need…

1/2 cup shredded coconut

4 almonds

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 Tbs raw honey

1 Tbs coconut oil

 

Directions:

  1. Melt coconut oil and honey together
  2. Combine coconut oil and honey mixture with shredded coconut
  3. Form into four balls
  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  5. Press an almond into the top of each ball
  6. Freeze for about 15 minutes
  7. Melt chocolate chips
  8. Dip the frozen balls into the chocolate and coat them evenly
  9. Cool until hard. Store in refrigerator or freezer (assuming you don’t eat them all at once..hehe)
