These Spicy Shrimp Tacos with Citrus Slaw take less than 30 minutes to make and even less time to devour!

Taco Monday, Taco Tuesday, Taco Wednesday, we would eat these Spicy Shrimp Tacos ANY day of the week. Served on a corn tortilla with a sweet Citrus Slaw, you cannot go wrong.

 

We pretty much do eat tacos or taco-inspired meals almost every day. When we find a good spice rub, we pretty much become obsessed. You can bet that we are using this one on all of our proteins to make burrito bowls, taco salads, taco-inspired scrambles… you name it!

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

Spicy Shrimp

1 lb shrimp, deveined and tails removed

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

 

Sweet Citrus Slaw

2 cup red cabbage, sliced

1 Tbs olive oil

1 tsp raw honey

juice of 1/2 a lime

pinch of salt

 

Extras

6 corn tortillas

1 large avocado, cubed

1 lime, sliced

 

Directions:

  1. Combine shrimp with seasonings and toss until evenly coated
  2. Pan-fry or grill for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink
  3. In a separate bowl, combine sweet citrus slaw ingredients and mix until the cabbage is evenly coated with the dressing
  4. Assemble tacos with your corn tortillas and extras
