This warm weather has us grilling up a storm! It’s our fave way to enjoy fresh seasonal produce and lean proteins – because let’s face it, chicken can get BORING… that and we are always looking for a good excuse to be outside every second that this MN weather allows us to be. Last night we grilled up some skewers with an Orange Ginger Marinade. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. We love this marinade because it’s great for whatever protein you choose or for your favorite seasonal veggies.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Juice of half of a large orange (about 1/3 cup)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon dry ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients and enjoy as a marinade for about 2 pounds of protein or your favorite seasonal veggies
