A healthy doughnut?! Yes. It is a dream come true. Eat them for breakfast, a snack, post-workout fuel, dessert or all of the above. Here is our basic, all-purpose, pro-nut starter recipe:

 

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas, mashed

2 scoops (1/2 cup) protein powder of choice – we use vanilla

1/4 cup coconut flour

1 Tbs pure maple syrup

1/2 cup almond milk

2 eggs

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Mix dry ingredients together
  3. In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients
  4. Combine the mixtures
  5. Poor into a greased doughnut mold – these can be purchased on amazon, or you can use a muffin tin instead!
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes
