Pumpkin Spice season – AKA fall, autumn, etc – is such a fun time of year for recipe creation. Are you sick of pumpkin spice recipes yet? For those of you who can’t get enough, this recipe is for you: Pumpkin Pie Proats (protein oatmeal). This one is loaded with fall flavors and protein, so it’s a perfect post-workout meal

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

1/2 cup rolled oats
2 Tbs pumpkin puree
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 Tbs maple syrup
Sprinkle of cinnamon

 

Directions:

  1. Cook oats as directed (add a little bit of extra water to help dissolve your protein powder later
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well
