Crock-pot meal-prepping is one of our favorite ways to get ready for the week. And as the weather gets chillier, nothing sounds better than a warm, hearty bowl of chili. It’s a classic you can’t help but devour! Most of our chili recipes consist of us throwing together whatever beans we have available, a bunch of veggies, ground turkey and loads of seasoning, but we decided to write this recipe down and share it!

The Goods:

1lb lean ground turkey, browned
1 onion
10 oz condensed tomato soup (choose wisely, checking your ingredients. We used Amy’s tomato soup- organic and no high fructose corn syrup)
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
2 cans diced tomatoes and chilis
1 TB chili powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 TB garlic powder
1/2 TB cumin
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cook in crockpot for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.

If you’re feeling fancy…

Like we said earlier, we usually just toss it all together, so try swapping out different beans and adding in more veggies like bell peppers!
