Mornings can be hectic. Between early morning workouts that may go a little longer than planned, frantically packing meals for the day, or hitting the snooze button a couple too many times, we always seem to be rushing out the door. That’s why we are such huge fans of overnight oats. We decided to stray from our go-to toppings of fruit, nut butter and protein power and opt for a more seasonably appropriate recipe. Introducing: Gingerbread Overnight Oats! They’ll get you in the holiday spirit even if your struggling to open your eyes.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp molasses
1 tsp pure maple syrup
1 tsp stevia

Directions:

  1. Throw all of the ingredients in an air-tight container and mix thoroughly
  2. Refrigerate overnight to allow for oats to soften
