Sometimes you just need a sunshiney dish to turn your winter blues around, and that’s where this recipe comes in!

Each bite features grapefruit, blood orange,  and clementine – they’re all there and accounted for! So kick off your morning with a boost of Vitamin C, and get your day started right! These bowls feature nourishing ingredients like Greek yogurt and slivered almonds. Each bowl is full of protein from the yogurt, healthy fats from the almonds, and carbohydrates from the fruit and syrup, so you are sure to feel satiated and fueled all morning long.

Ingredients

2 cup plain Greek yogurt

¼ cup slivered almonds

¼ tbsp pure maple syrup

½ large grapefruit

1 blood orange

1 clementine

 

Directions:

  1. Prepare citrus by slicing away the peel and as much of the white membrane as desired. Once peeled, slice into disks, removing seeds as needed.
  2. Portion yogurt into four bowls and top with almonds, maple syrup, and citrus.
  3. Enjoy right away or store in individual jars and refrigerate for up to four days.
